What are the opening hours for the spa?
The Cairndale Spa is open 7 days a week from 10:00am to 6:00pm. (Times may change due to availably and booking is essential)

Do I need to be a hotel guest to use the spa?
No, you do not need to be a hotel guest to visit the spa. Non-residents can visit by booking one of our Spa Day Packages.

What facilities are included in the spa?
The award winning Cairndale Spa offers a range of experiences across two floors, including spacious thermal pool, a rasul, aroma steam room, herbal steam room, Himalayan salt sauna, infrared sauna, herbal lounge, Brass Monkey cold water plunge, Scotland's only Double Hammam and a private bathing suite. Guests can also enjoy refreshments from the spa café and dedicated juice bar during their visit. A selection of individual and couples’ treatments are also available to book.

What is the minimum age to visit The Cairndale Hotel and Spa?
Children are welcome in the hotel and in The Oak Bar & Restaurant. The Cairndale Spa is an adults only spa. The minimum age for spa access is 18 years old.

Can pregnant guests use the spa?
Yes, pregnant guests are welcome to use the spa. However, there may be restrictions on certain spa facilities and treatments for health and safety reasons. For advice before booking, please contact the spa team.

Do hotel guests receive discounted spa access?
Yes, hotel guests can access the spa at preferential rates. However, guests looking to make use of The Cairndale Spa would see best value when booking a Spa Stay package.

Can I book a treatment without using the spa?
You do not need to be a spa guest to book a treatment. Explore available treatments here.

Can I hire the spa for a private party/event?
Yes, private spa hire is available for corporate bookings and special occasions. Please contact us directly to discuss your event or idea.

Can I buy gift vouchers?
Yes, gift vouchers can be purchased either at the hotel, spa or online. Buy vouchers here.

Do I need to bring anything for my spa visit?
Robes, towels and slippers are provided for spa guests. We recommend bringing swimwear and any personal toiletries you may need.

Are dietary requirements catered for during spa days?
Dietary requirements and allergies can usually be accommodated with advance notice. Please inform the team when booking.

Can I cancel or change my spa booking?
Booking amendments and cancellations may be possible depending on notice given and booking terms. Please contact the spa team directly for assistance.

Is parking available at The Cairndale Hotel & Spa?
Yes, complimentary parking is available for all hotel, dining and spa guests. While there are currently no EV charging points on site, charging facilities are available nearby.
