Room Attendant / Housekeeper
The Cairndale Hotel and Spa is actively seeking a Casual Housekeeping Assistant to join our housekeeping team. The right candidate will help us uphold our meticulous standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
Guests tell us they love our four poster beds, our Jacuzzi bathrooms, Nespresso Machines and luxury toiletries and as a member of our Housekeeping team your role will be pivotal to the success of their stay.
· Our Successful Housekeeper / Room Attendant will have overall responsibility for a dedicated number of our guest bedrooms (approximately 8-10 rooms); and corridor.
The hours for this position are 09.00am until 2.00pm . Sunday 10.00am until 3.00pm
Positions available from 1 day to 3 days .
· You will ensure that they are clean to an immaculate standard and well maintained on a daily basis.
· This includes replenishing guest’s supplies and amenities as required preparing each room appropriately for your next guest’s arrival.
· You’ll also be responsible for the upkeep and general presentation of all public areas.
· You will provide impeccable but unobtrusive service and take ownership of our guest requests while managing your own time.
· Checking bedspreads, curtains and all other soft furnishings for repair and stains and deal with these accordingly.
· Check carpets for repair and stains and liaise with the Head Housekeeper.
The Ideal Candidate
Our successful Housekeeper / Room Attendant will;
· Ideally have previous experience in a similar environment however, this is not essential as training will naturally be provided.
· Possess a strong attention to detail
· Be able to maintain and drive standards in the department
· Have the ability to work as part of a large housekeeping team
· Communicate well with colleagues in housekeeping and other departments
· Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn
