Scotty “D” was originally born in Atlanta, Georgia U.S.A.
He began his career in the music business at the age of 12 playing guitar and vocals in his family gospel group “The Imperial Gospel Singers”.
He later joined his first band in Atlanta known as “Funk Maschine”. Travelling across the globe was the former guitarist and vocalist for the “Alabamas Soul Band ” in Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife, Spain.
After moving to Hamburg, Germany, Scotty formed a group known as “Soul Connection”, playing on the Reeper Baum Strasse.
When he returned to Tenerife, Spain, he joined the “Temptations Show” in the Soul Suite. Performing as a solo act, and as a member of the “Temptations, Four Tops, and Drifters Shows”.
Scotty was also a member of the Northern Soul act “Soul Sensation”, performing at venues around the U.K.
