The hotel is popular for large events including weddings, birthday celebrations and conferences. The hotel also boasts banqueting facilities including grand ballroom for up to 350 guests.
The hotel is centrally located right in the heart of Dumfries, 5 minutes from the train station and a stopping point on a number of bus routes.

Restaurant Supervisor Role:
To be successful in this role you will need to be a confident and an engaging communicator ensuring inspirational service is delivered to our guests. Working as the supervisor of our Restaurant Team, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be very customer and team focused, being able to get the best from your team to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be able to delegate tasks while leading by example. You will have experience from a similar role at supervisor or manger level for at least a year. A person licence and food hygiene award would be beneficial to your role.
Restaurant Supervisor Duties:
- Effectively managing your team, ensuring all roles and areas of the restaurant are appropriately staffed
- Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints
- Ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to
- Work with the duty managers to ensure our guests get the best experience from their stay with us
