"I was booked into this hotel by 'Visit Scotland" in Dumfries. It is handy to the railway station and town centre. The room was comfortable and the facilities good. I had my evening meal in the Sawney Bean's restaurant downstairs, where both food and service were good, then breakfast in the dining room in the morning - very enjoyable."
